      The Shea has co-producing arrangements with three of Franklin County's premier community theater organizations. We are proud to have The Country Players, Arena Civic Theatre and Ja'Duke Productions staging plays, concerts and musicals throughout the year. In addition, we are home to the Shea Young Stage Company, a drama company for actors ages 11 to 18.

       
       
       
       

      The Country Players are a group of volunteers founded in 1979. They are dedicated to having fun while producing quality shows, and to fostering the involvement of all levels of developing talent in the performance, backstage, and business aspects of non-profit community theater. They are proud to be a community theater for the entire family, and to be housed at The Shea.

      Arena Civic Theatre was founded in 1970 by Ann Christern, who served as its artistic director until 1980. The group is well-traveled, having performed throughout Franklin County. They are pleased to provide quality theater for and with the local communities as a resident company of The Shea. A.C.T. produces three shows annually consisting of a summer one-act play, a major spring musical, and a fall drama/comedy. A.C.T. is a member of the American Association of Community Theatre and The Community Theater Association.

      Ja'Duke Productions, founded by Nick Waynelovich, presents band concerts and a summer musical at The Shea. They feature a 17-piece Big Band, The Shea Swing Orchestra with over 1200 arrangements, the King Phillip Dixieland Band, and the musical productions of the Ja'Duke Theater Company.

      The Shea Young Stage Company is the Shea Theater's own production company for young actors, ages 11 to 18. The company produces two performances annually. Both one acts and full stage performances are staged.
