Arena Civic
Theatre was founded in 1970 by Ann Christern, who served as its
artistic director until 1980. The group is well-traveled, having
performed throughout Franklin County. They are pleased to provide
quality theater for and with the local communities as a resident company
of The Shea. A.C.T. produces three shows annually consisting of a summer
one-act play, a major spring musical, and a fall drama/comedy. A.C.T. is
a member of the American Association of Community Theatre and The
Community Theater Association.

New Renaissance
Players is the
newest troupe to the Shea! They were founded in 2010
by resident artist Kimberley Morin, and work under the guidance of
the Shea Artistic Committee as a Shea dedicated, non-profit
group. They are open to and encourage community
participation.
Their specific purpose in performance is to
raise funds for the theater's expenses. The group presents a variety of
theatrical genres, both comedy and drama, from family-friendly
presentations to more mature themed, adult based shows. All proceeds
from their productions benefit the Shea as dictated by the full Board of
Directors.
