The Hampstead Stage Company (NH)
The children’s classic “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens is a story that is both timeless and universal. It is the delightful tale of the miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, and his clerk, Bob Cratchit. Through visits from spirits of his past, present and future, Scrooge discovers the true meaning of the season. In this charming tale of Victorian England, children will not only be delighted by a live theatrical presentation, but encouraged by the story line to help others that are less fortunate than themselves. The Hampstead Stage Company scripts are original adaptations, based directly on literary classics and their colorful, realistic sets and costumes are designed using extensive historical research. Performing over two thousand shows a year, The Hampstead Stage Company's mission is to educate youth audiences throughout the country by bringing classic literature to life through live theatre, thus sparking an interest in reading the classics, instilling a love and appreciation of the arts, and preserving theatre for future generations. Theatreworks USA Presentation
Look Out! Here comes the outspoken, precocious, lovable June B. Jones! This fast paced, full-scale musical is adapted from the children’s best selling series, “Junie B. Jones” by Barbara Park. Singing, dancing and loads of life lessons circle around Junie’s adventures with new friends, new glasses, kick-ball tournaments and all of the angst ridden situations that a grade-schooler might write of in their journal!. A remarkable presentation by a professional children’s theater from Manhattan that will leave you singing and toe-tapping for weeks!
